Police woman gangs up with another to beat up husband’s secret lover

Lance Corporal Therese Mombi Lazames stationed at the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Ghana Police Service at Tarkwa in the Western Region and one Akrasi Sam have been arrested for allegedly ganging up and beating to pulp one Rita Ogoli, a Nigerian age 36.

The victim is alleged to be secretly dating the husband of the DOVVSU officer who happens to be a senior policeman based in the Ashanti Region.

According to the police, the victim called at the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOVVSU) with marks of assault on her left hand and deep cuts all over her head and reported having been attacked and assaulted by her ex-boyfriend identified as Akrasi Sam and her new boyfriend’s wife who is a police woman identified as Lance Corporal Therese Mombi Lazames stationed.

Meanwhile the said new boyfriend is also identified as a senior policeman (name withheld) who at the time of the incident was on medical checkup in Accra.

Police revealed to MyNewsGh.com they issued a medical form to the complainant to attend hospital for medical examination, treatment and report to assist in investigation while suspects were arrested and are currently on police enquiry bail.
