Police puts GHS10K bounty on Takoradi murder suspects’ heads

The Western Regional Security Council (Western REGSEC) is offering a reward of GHS10,000 to anyone who volunteers information that would lead to the arrest of the suspects who murdered Mr Charles Kwakye on 12 April 2021 at Amanful, a suburb of Takoradi.

The regional command is on a manhunt for some six armed men who attacked the victim and his wife Monica Nda with guns, robbed them of their valuables and bolted on board two unregistered motorbikes.

The police said any person with such credible information should report to the nearest police station or call the Western Regional Police command on telephone numbers 0249983333, 0244591076 and 0245961522.

The toll-free numbers are 18555, 191 and 112 or send a WhatsApp message to the police on 02026639122.

The command assured the public of utmost confidentiality.

It further assured the residents of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis and its environs that the security situation is calm and under control.
