Police PRO Olumuyiwa, you are jobless – VeryDarkMan fire

Activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has slammed the Police PRO, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, for his decision to arrest and detain any critic of the Nigerian police.

Taking to social media to express his dissatisfaction, VeryDarkMan lamented Adejobi’s choice to focus on Twitter users who speak negatively about the police instead of addressing more pressing issues.

He described Adejobi’s actions as jobless, attending court with his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, to assist in securing bail for a young man who confronted Adejobi on Twitter and spent 3 weeks and 2 days in detention.

Expressing his displeasure with Adejobi’s actions, VeryDarkMan said, “I’m just coming back from Jos, straight to the court, in respect to the guy that was detained by the police because of a comment he made on Twitter.

They just gave the guy bail condition after the guy has spent 3 weeks and 2 days in detention just because of this comment. Its not like he made a video, just a comment on Twitter. So the Force PRO you have the time to be going around Twitter to check for the people that are talking negative about the police or anybody that criticizes the police. Isn’t that joblessness?

We have a lot of things in Nigeria that is disturbing us. There is a case now that is trending, they’ve tagged you on Twitter, but you’ve never done anything about it. I posted about it this morning, a guy that allegedly died inside the police station in Lagos.

The allegation is that the police now took the body of the guy and went to deposit it in the hospital without informing the parents. Now PRO, you’ve not given us any explanation as to whether this thing is true or not, the police involvement, nothing. But you’re going up and down searching for comments all over the internet.”

Captioning the post, VeryDarkMan wrote, “Will Nigeria ever get better? Force pro is this what your work is about, what broke my heart is the suspect’s mother went through how she rolled on the ground begging you and even at that the boy still spent 3weeks and 2days in your cell for what, please cal you tell us what happened to abdulmajid who allegedly kpai inside your cell, while you’re on twitter looking for the next person to arrest, check your notifications and tell us what happened to Abdumajid @adeyanjudeji bless you.”
