Police pledge to arrest persons who allegedly ‘gang-raped, killed’ a young lady

The Central North Regional Police Command has launched an investigation into the death of a young woman who is suspected to have been gang-raped and killed by unknown persons.

A preliminary investigation conducted by the police revealed that the deceased, identified as Tahiru Zenabu, was found dead in her room with a cloth tied around her neck and blood stains on her hands.

A statement issued by the police indicated that items found at the crime scene included a super glue container, a torn condom package, and an apple.

The incident, which occurred in Kokoase, a suburb of Twifo Praso in the Central Region, has left several residents shocked and fearful.

The victim was an apprentice who was almost finished with her training. According to the police, the investigation is still ongoing to identify those responsible for the crime and prosecute them.

POLICE INVESTIGATE ALLEGED MURDER OF A FEMALE ADULT AT KOKOASE IN THE CENTRAL REGION

The Central North Regional Police Command is investigating the alleged murder of a female adult at Kokoase, a suburb of Twifo Praso in the Central Region.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the deceased, identified as Tahiru Zenabu, was found dead in her room with a cloth tied around her neck and some blood stains on her hands.

Items found at the scene include a super glue container, a torn condom package, and an apple.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Twifo Praso Hospital mortuary for preservation and autopsy, while investigation is ongoing to identify and arrest the perpetrators of this heinous crime to face justice.
