Police looking for 2 women seen throwing rubbish in run-off rainwater at Madina

The Police have initiated moves to arrest two women seen in a viral video throwing rubbish on the street during a rainfall. The incident is said to have happened at Madina in Accra.

In the video, the two women are seen carrying a sack of rubbish and pouring the content into run-off rainwaters.

The act by the two women has been widely condemned, with many on social media calling for their arrest.

On Wednesday however, it came out that a formal complaint had been lodged at the Madina Police Station.

One Christian Thompson post on Facebook: “The Good News is, I have visited the house with a CID officer to invite them to the Madina Police. We did not meet them. They are to report themselves by tomorrow. So hopefully something good will come out of this. Thank you all. God Bless you and may God bless GHANA.”

Another post by the President of the Millennium Excellence Foundation, Ashim Morton, showed him in the company of the police arrive at the residence of the two women at Madina.
