Police Hospital to shut down from September 28 to October 1

The management of the Ghana Police Service has announced that the facility will be shut down from the Sept. 28 to Oct. 1, 2018, to allow for a fumigation exercise to be carried out.

According to management, this is to get rid of organisms that are a hindrance to the attainment of the hospital’s goal of successful provision of quality healthcare service to clients.

The provision of health care will begin on October 2, 2018.

A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Hospital, DSP Yaw Nketiah Yeboah said “adequate provision has been at the Police Clinics at the National Police Training School (NPTS) at Tesano and Police Service Workshop branches to cater for only police personnel and their dependents.

“Other clients who are not police personnel are to note and patronize other healthcare facilities nearby during the fumigation exercise,” the statement added.
