Police Hospital shuts for fumigation

The management of the Ghana Police Hospital has served notice of a three-day fumigation exercise at the hospital, beginning Friday September 28, to Monday October 1, 2018.

It has consequently made adequate arrangements “for ONLY Police personnel and their dependants” to be served at the Police clinics at the National Police Training School (NPTS) at Tesano and Police Service Workshop branches.

Other clients who are “NOT Police personnel” have also been asked to patronize other healthcare facilities nearby during the fumigation exercise.

“This is to get rid of organisms that are a hinderance to the attainment of the hospital’s goal of successful provision of quality healthcare services to clients”, a statement issued by the management said, adding that the provision of healthcare services will be restored on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.

The management is therefore appealing to clients for their cooperation during the routine exercise.
