Police arrest armed robbers at East Legon

The Police has arrested two armed robbers who invaded a house at East Legon near offices of Ghanalink.

The Stopper 1 Patrol team from the CID Headquarters had an information that a gang of armed robbers had invaded the house.

The Team proceeded to the scene and the robbers upon seeing the Police scaled two houses and entered into a near by bush amidst firing.

The Patrol Team returned fire and pursued them into the bush.

Two (2) of the suspected armed robbers namely Sherrif Mohammed and Abu Issaka Ibrahim surrendered and were arrested.

A Tricycle was retrieved from the scene and they confessed to have stolen the Tricycle from an unknown person within the jurisdiction.
