A group of armed men, believed to be robbers, stormed Adabraka, a suburb of the nation’s capital Accra, on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

Viral videos of the incident show at least five well-built men with various types of guns.

The men could be seen firing shots in the air as they transported the items, including bags of money, they had confiscated to a silver vehicle.

They could be seen ordering a man wearing a black singlet, who had his hands up in the sky, around.

The suspects at some point spread some of the money they had confiscated as the warning shots continued.

After packing the bags into the vehicle, they fired warning shots and sped off.

One person is heard saying in the video that this was not the first time the victim had been robbed.

At least one person was reported hit by the bullets fired by the suspected robbers.

Another video from the scene of the incident showed residents rushing the man who was shot to the hospital.
