PHOTOS: Tipper Truck Crushes Okada Rider, Passenger to death

A very sad information My News Ghana has received has it that an Okada rider and a pillion have been crushed to death by a Tipper Truck at the Gomoa Akramang in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

The accident occurred Wednesday morning.

The deceased persons – Kwadwo Isaac 19, the ridder and Kwasi Acquah, 21, ran over by the Tipper Truck with registration number GT 7590-19 after they wrongfully overtook another vehicle which had slowed down for the Tipper Truck to cross due to a narrowness of that portion as a result of a faulty Passenger Vehicle parked on the shoulders of the road.

An eyewitness told My News Ghana the two motorbike ridders died instantly.

The tipper truck driver, Stephen Adjei said, he tried to prevent crushing the two but they ran straight under his moving vehicle.
