PHOTOS: Three bedroom apartment at Bole Nurses Quarters gutted by fire

Fire has destroyed a three-bedroom apartment housing three teachers of the Bole Nursing College.

Though the cause of the fire is unknown, the fire reportedly started from one of the three rooms in the nurses quarters and eventually spread to the others Tuesday evening.

According to a witness, they immediately called the fire service when they saw smoke coming out of one of the rooms.

Before personnel of the fire service could get to the scene, the fire had burnt down their rooms and property running into thousands of Ghana cedis.

The Savannah Regional Fire Service Commander appealed to residents to put off all electrical appliances when not in use and also get fire extinguishers for domestic use especially during this Harmattan season.
