Nigerians have been reacting to a disturbing photo that shows an aide to Bola Tinubu holding the left hand of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the official launch of the party’s campaign in Jos.

The photo which has now gone viral shows an aide who is yet-to-identified supporting the former Lagos State governor as he waved to the crowd in Jos on Tuesday, November 15.

Tinubu was planked by Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai and President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is one of many talking points that have emerged from the event.

In another video that has gone viral, Tinubu almost lost his footing while he was invited on stage to speak at the event.

The former Lagos state Governor was also heard at the event asking God to bless the PDP. Upon realizing his mistake Tinubu immediately corrected himself.

Reactions

emmjautos commented: “Only in Nigerian politics will you have to put down a candidate down by all means to sell your own candidate.
If your candidate is sellable, tell us what he has to offer not what the other person can do or cannot do.”

n0rth_0k4y wrote: “Sell your agenda for Nigeria to Nigerians. All you are doing is tackling your opponents with frivolities which do not even affect the quality of the Nigerian identity. The level of mediocrity you politicians exercise is just an insult to everyone who identifies as Nigerian. It’s pretty sad. However, I believe 2023 will teach y’all some hard lessons. Selah!”

dab_damian21 commented: “Each time I see Tinubu I weep for my country Nigeria ???????? Atiku can be manageable but Obi remain the best….My Country people vote with ur brain.”
