Angry mob set three suspected armed robbers ablaze in Warri, Delta State on Tuesday morning, December 8.

The owner of the house was said to have raised an alarm and a vigilante group in the area swung into action, arrested the suspected robbers. However, the angry mob came out and beat the suspects to a pulp before setting them ablaze.
According to an eyewitness, the third suspect was later caught at Ojabugbe street, along Okumagba Road, where he was also beaten up and set ablaze by the angry mob.
The Divisional Police Officer, “B” Division in Warri, CSP Benjamin Igometi confirmed the incident to Vanguard in a telephone chat.
“They just called me now that some robbers came to attack in that area and they caught them and they were lynched. That’s what I heard.” he said.
