David Ofori Osafo, affectionately known as Bongo Depharaa, hard work has finally paid off as he was adjourned the best commentator in the Greater Accra Region at the just ended Foklex Media Award 2020.
The trained teacher who switched from the classroom to sit behind the microphone after winning the award gave thanks to the Almighty God for making the vision come through and finally dedicated the award to the Managing Director of the Despite Media Dr. Fadda Dickson Narh.
“Glory to the Almighty God for making it possible for me to win this award, secondly to my Boss, Managing Director, legend, and God Father in the Media landscape Dr. Fadda Dickson for his unflinching support from day one till date. I want to use this platform to assure my Boss Dr. Fadda Dickson that this is just the beginning of greater things”. Exicted Bongo Depharaa added.
Bongo Depharaa started the Journalism campaign with Nkawkaw based Obuoba Fm and moved to Accra some years later.
He has been able to make impact in Ghana’s capital Accra and beyond.
The versatile journalist Bongo Depharaa’s aim is to win the Ghana Journalist Awards best sports journalist in the coming years.
Dr. Fadda Dickson has change a lot of media guys through his support, advice and has set a pace for himself which will go down well in Memories.
