Patience Ozokwor thanks family following ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’

The veteran who was given the Lifetime Achievement Award at the just concluded AMVCA, on Saturday, May 20, wrote a touching speech to honour her award.

Sharing photos of herself with her children and grandchildren on her Instagram page, Patience Ozokwor detailed how she began her acting career without the use of social media or other modern conveniences.

According to the veteran, in those days, talent, humility, reputation, and trust were the only considerations for advancement in the movie industry.

She expressed gratitude to all her colleagues for their diligent efforts, which usually went unnoticed.

She was also appreciative of the love and support she had received from her family.

Patience Ozokwor described how her children made many sacrifices and were left alone without a mother while she was filming.

She also expressed her gratitude to those marketers, filmmakers, and producers who in some way assisted her in making her brand a household name.

Mama G also expressed her gratitude to her fans and also promised to work even harder and never take their unwavering love and support for granted.
