Npp Govt Tormenting Teachers In The Volta Region

A statement going Viral in the internet emphasized that, the war against the good people of Volta Region by the New patriotic Party is not stopping soon as some sections of Voltarians working under  the Ghana Education Service has not received their past three Months Salaries for reasons best known to the ruling New Patriotic Party.

For the past three months, a good number of teachers from the Volta region could not receive their salaries
after visiting their various district educational offices,they have been made to write reactivation letter for which they had complied. Later in the same month of June 2020,they have been asked to submit a letter of reinstatement after detecting that they have been wrongly affected by the 2018 auditing exercise.

All other conditions have been met by such victims to the extent of visiting their regional offices with their particulars for further interrogation and validation. Upon the laborious process that these victims went through, they could not still receive their salaries at the end of August, making three good months without pay whilst these victims are all active staffs in the Ghana Education Service.

This cruel and deliberate action by the ruling New Patriotic Party against these teachers in the Volta Region has brought untold hardship with Covid 19 effects on such genuine staffs of Ghana Education Service.

Speaking to some sections of personals of GES that was affected by the trauma vowed to campaign and vote against the president if the Matter remains unchanged.
