Otumfour Osei Tutu breaks silence on Prophet Badu Kobi’s tribal comments

The Manhyia Palace has noticed the tribal comments made by Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi and has offered a response to that effect.

Social media was on fire last weekend when Prophet Badu, during a sermon in his church, insulted Ashanti women, saying they are disrespectful, greedy and full of trouble.

Several people came for his head, including celebrities like Samini, Appietus, Efia Odo and a host of others. Some Ghanaians even begged the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu to summon the pastor to clarify his ethnocentric statement and punish him accordingly.

It seems their prayers have been answered although not the way they expected. In a post sighted on the official Facebook page of Manhyia Palace, a statement reads;

“Proud Asante. Say No To Tribalism. #SayNoToTribalism”
