Osimhen holds brief meeting with Eguavoen upon arrival in Uyo

A video shows the moment Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, joined the training camp in Uyo.

Osimhen was the last man to arrive at camp due to a controversial transfer that saw him leave the Italian side of Napoli at the eleventh hour to join Galatasaray on a season-long loan move.

Despite interest from top European clubs throughout the transfer window, the deal failed to materialize.

Several reports indicate Napoli was frustrated with the move to Chelsea and Al-Ahli.

With his arrival, head coach Augustine Eguavoen will have the full complement of the team as the Super Eagles face Benin Republic at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, before traveling to Kigali to take on Rwanda three days later.

In the video, Victor Osimhen can be seen shaking hands with members of the squad and officials while having a brief meeting with Augustine Eguavoen.
