Osei Palmer drags NC Boss Kofi Amoah to FIFA

Bankroller of lower tier side Tema Youth, Wilfred Osei Kwaku ‘Palmer’ and his legal team has dragged president of the Normalization Committee (NC), Dr Kofi Amoah to the FIFA Ethics Committee according to Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM after his appeal was turned down.

Palmer, who was nursing the ambitions of becoming the next GFA president had his dreams truncated when the Vetting Committee disqualified him on October 4 based on two grounds.

The former Black Stars Committee chairman’s appeal against his disqualification was turned down which has forced his legal team to drag the NC boss to the FIFA Ethics Committee for allegedly influencing the vetting process.

An initial number of seven aspirants filed their candidature for the topmost position in Ghana football but only Wilfred Osei Palmer was disqualified and the legal showdown between the aspirant’s camp and the NC could postpone the election date of October 25 to a later date.
