Hezekiel Boadu, one of the teenage suspects who attacked and killed George Somuah Bosompem, the Religious and Moral Education teacher at Asiakwa Salvation Army Basic School has been arrested by the police.
The suspect who has been on the run since news broke out about his involvement in the attack of the 57-year-old teacher was arrested by police in the Greater Accra Region on Wednesday at his hideout, according to a source close to the family.
This latest arrest brings the number to five suspects who are in custody following the attack that led to the death of the basic school teacher.
Richard Anani, Emmanuel Mireku, Philip Okodie and Paul Boadu who were charged with conspiracy to commit murder and murder at a court hearing have been remanded into police custody to reappear on May 14, 2019.
The final suspect continuous to be on the run as the police are yet to officially brief the media on this new development.
George Somuah Bosompem died at the St. Joseph’s Hospital at Koforidua where he was rushed to after the attack.
He was initially admitted at the Kibi Hospital but later transferred to the St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He is survived by a wife and three children.
