Okuapemhene Fines Faction Who Were Causing Problems In Aburi Atweasin

Aftermath of disturbances and illegal destoolment of Aburi Atweasin chief by using autocratic means by some scrupulous persons claiming to be acting on authorities of Akuapim Traditional Council.
Speaking at a crunch meeting summons by the overlord of Akuapim Traditional Area, His Royal Majesty Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III,  has responded to the Chieftaincy conflict between two faction clans in Atweasin by all the Divisional Chiefs in Akuapim to bring lasting solutions and also set the record straight who is the legitimate Chief of Atweasin in Aburi.
Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III placed a fine on both the  Abusuapanyin Oheneba Barima Kwame Gyan, Nana Akua Sarfowaa (Atweasinhemaa), Nana Opare kwafo l  (Atweasin Oyoko Kyidomhene), Dr Offei Amonor, madam Emily sakyibea Gyan, Opanyin Bortey, Ankobea Ntow Aboagye, Ankobea Bampo, Nana Amankwaa (Atweasin tufuhene/ Nsawam Ahodwohene)as a form of punishment for their misconduct and peddling lies against his authority.
The fine  include a sum of GH100,000, 24 cottons of schnapps, and 24 sheep. He also made their newly enstooled Atweasinhene null and void.
The Paramount Chief of Akuapim affirmed the legitimacy of the current Chief of Aburi Atweasin, Nana Frimpong Kodua.
At long last calm has been restored and peace is  prevailing in Aburi Atweasin.
Meanwhile the Aburihene who doubled as the Adontenhene of Akuapim Traditional Area was directed to ensure that nothing like that happened again.
He thank the Paramount Chief on his response that he doesn’t understand the abusuapayin Oheneba Barima Kwame Gyan, Nana Afua Sarfowaa the Queenmother of Atweasin and his followers for always creating unnecessary tension in the community.
