Ohemaa Mercy’s ex-husband speaks

In light of the ongoing controversies surrounding his divorce from Ohemaa Mercy, Mr. Isaac Twum Ampofo, the ex-husband of the gospel musician, has broken his silence.

The controversy erupted following Ohemaa Mercy’s statement that the Holy Spirit led her to seek a divorce to devote herself to her ministry fully.

This disclosure has led to significant backlash against the gospel singer with critics questioning her claims.

Notably, Brother Sammy and other netizens have argued that Ohemaa Mercy’s decision to divorce was not inspired by God but rather based on personal interests.

Amidst the wild backlashes Ohemaa Mercy has since encountered, Mr. Twum Ampofo has taken to social media to speak.

In an Instagram post, he asked people to shift their focus from the drama surrounding their marriage to the success of the recently held Tehilah Concert.

“Let’s keep our focus on God’s goodness. The thousands who encountered God. The miracles and testimonies. Let’s keep the conversation centered on God’s goodness and the impact of this event,” he wrote.

He also seized the opportunity to commend his ex-wife. “Congratulations to the woman of God for dedicating herself to the master’s work. Your commitment to fostering worship and praise is truly admirable. May God continue to use you mightily.”
