Obuasi Mbappe: Watch highlights of the youngster discovered by Yaw Dabo’s football academy

With pace to burn and ball-striking quality of world-class potential, a young forward from Obuasi named Gyau Frimpong has earned comparisons with French football great Kylian Mbappé.

In the recently concluded season, the 17-year-old dazzled in the Division Two League with his incredible skill set, scoring goals and providing assists effortlessly.

Viral video clips capture him winning the ball on the right wing, cutting in, and then either unleashing a pass or striking the ball beautifully to find the net.

When asked about the youngster’s abilities, Yaw Dabo described him as the next big thing in Ghanaian football due to his potential.

Yaw Dabo noted that the youngster is well-driven and difficult to dispossess when he has control of the ball.

“He has pace, and you will struggle to get the ball off him. He is a young guy with huge potential,” he said.
