The CEO of Ahobrasea FM urges Media to stop biase report

The Chief Executive Officer of Ahobresea Fm in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality in the Western Region of Ghana, Denis Mensah Nkrumah, popular known as Kwame Ampong has urged Ghanaian Media especially the electronic Media not to be biased towards some communities or individuals in their publications  but to be fair in their reportage .
Mr Kwame Ampong was speaking to the pressradio in South Africa via a telephone interview after meeting some press men in his office at  Asankrangwua during the week   .
Mr Kwame Ampong who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Ahobresea Ye Group of Companies hosted some Journalists who visited his ultra modern Radio ( Fm)  Station with the state of the art equipments which has  started a test transmission in Wassa Amenfi West and it’s surroundings on Chanel 98.5.MHz. .
The Chief Executive Officer bemoaned the complete neglect of Wassa Amenfi West by most of the Ghanaian Media houses in publishing numerous developmental stories earmarked by the good people of Wassa Amenfi West and the political leaders especially the Municipal Chief Executive , Honourable George Agyiri.
He told pressradio that the only period the Media covered stories in the Municipality was when there were two by-elections in the Constituency incidentally the only Constituency in Ghana that had two by-elections in Ghana’s fourth Republican Constitution.
Mr Ampong commended pressradio and other online outlet for constantly reporting developmental news from Wassa Amenfi West to the rest of the world despite basing in South Africa and encouraged pressradio not to neglect them but continue to be the voice of the voiceless Wassa Amenfi West.
He added that he has ordered the Management of the  station to be fair with all political parties, Civil society organizations ( C.S.O ) , Business Organizations, Communities, Individuals and Organisations in and around the catchment areas..
In another telephone conversation with the Manager of the station, Nana Amoako, he said the Staff of the station will be whipped towards the policy of the station as advised by the hardworking Chief Executive Officer in order to be fair to all people and organizations.
He also added that quality programs are lined  up for listeners in Wassa Amenfi West and beyond.
