The Second Lady of the republic of Ghana, H. E. Samira Bawumia Samira Bawumia has asked Ghanaians to allow the NPP more time in government since most of its policies have started yielding positively.

According to her, initiatives like Planting for Food and Jobs, NABCO, One District One Factory, restoration of Nurse and Teacher Training Allowances, Free SHS and One Village One Dam have set the stage for the economic transformation of the country.

“The Nana Addo led NPP government Transformation Agenda towards Ghana Beyond Aid is working, we promised Planting for Food and Jobs and we have delivered, we promised Free SHS and we have delivered, we promised restoration of Nurse and Teacher Training Allowances and we have delivered, One million dollars for every constituency is underway so Ghanaians should keep us in power for long transform the country” she stated.

Samira Bawumia said this at the New Agogo Community Market in the Asokw Municipality of the Ashanti Region on day 2 of her 3-day tour in the region.

In her argument, it’s only under this Nana-Bawumia NPP government that the country is for the first time in decades, experiencing bumper harvest and good rainfall.

Praising the president, the Agric Minister as well as her husband the vice president, the second lady passionately commended them for allowing God to use them to bless this country.

“Never in our youthful age did we experience such a bumper harvest like we are seeing now. Everywhere in Ghana, on every roadside all you see is plantain and other farm produce and we owe this government huge appreciation” she added.

On their part, most market women were full of admiration for the second lady, the president and the government, especially with the coming to force the Free SHS and Planting for Food and jobs.
