Notorious criminal on wanted list arrested
The Upper East Regional Police Command has arrested a man described as a notorious criminal who has been on the wanted list of the Police.
A statement by the Upper East Regional Police Command has said.
The statement says, the suspect, Pius Ayomah Anundiabil was arrested on Saturday, February 8 at Fumbusi in the Sandema District of the Upper East Region.
The police say the suspect is a native of Fumbusi but has been involved in rape and robbery cases in Accra as well as a murder case in Koforidua.
He is currently in custody at the Upper East Regional Police Command as plans are underway to transport him to Accra for further investigations,” the statement said.
