Nigerians react to throwback video of Rema arriving in Lagos for the first time

The singer who recently performed his hit single, “Calm Down” at 2023 Ballon d’Or made headlines once again after the video was shared online.

In the video making the rounds on social media, Rema was seen arriving in Lagos on the 26th of September some years ago alongside two of his friends.

Within his few years in Lagos, Rema grew from being a nobody to one of the biggest at youngest faces of Afrobeats music and globally recognized.

His Calm Down single and its remix has bagged multiple recognitions including its latest, six nominations at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
