Nigerians react as Akon picks favorite singer between Davido, Burnaboy

He was asked to choose between Davido and Burna Boy in a recent Drink Champs podcast interview with N.O.R.E and DJ EFN, and he chose Davido without hesitation.

Akon reaffirmed his admiration for Davido, calling him a “beast,” and asserted that the singer deserves more recognition and acclaim than he has so far earned.

He said: “I would probably go with Davido. Oh David, that kid right there is a beast, he’s the beast, he’s another one I think that deserves more flowers than he’s received”
