Nigerian stabs co-tenant at Buduburam

A 27-year-old Nigerian citizen named Winner Terry has been arrested by the Buduburam District Police Command for stabbing his co-tenant in the neck, shoulder, and leg during an argument over the royalties received by songwriters for their music.

The incident occurred at Estate Junction, a suburb of Gomoa Buduburam in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region.

According to police sources, the argument escalated in the suspect’s room, leading him to break a bottle and repeatedly stab his colleague, resulting in serious injuries.

The victim was promptly rushed to St. Gregory Hospital in Buduburam for treatment.

The suspect is currently in police custody, cooperating with investigations at the Gomoa Buduburam Police Station.

Meanwhile, Nana Amoasi, the landlord and Benkumhene of Buduburam, has condemned the act and appealed to President Akufo-Addo to deploy military officers in the area to assist the police in combating criminal activities.
