Newcastle keen on signing Osimhen

The 26-year-old remains one of the most sought-after center forwards in Europe and is expected to join a new club in the summer.

The Super Eagles striker is currently on loan at Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig after his expected move to Chelsea failed on transfer deadline day in the summer.

Osimhen has been in superb form since moving to Turkey, scoring 17 goals in 21 appearances across all competitions for the club.

Other Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Arsenal, alongside a host of Saudi clubs, are also monitoring Victor Osimhen’s situation.

The Magpies’ pursuit of Osimhen could mean that the club may be willing to sell their talisman Alexander Isak, who is currently one of the in-form strikers in Europe.

The Swedish international has netted 19 goals in 27 matches for Eddie Howe’s side this season.

Newcastle values the player around the region of £150 million.
