NDC did nothing for our grandparents – How a young Zongo boy ’embarrassed’ the Sinares

In a two-minute interaction between NDC’s Alhaji Sinare and his sister, the little boy’s bold responses to Sinare’s attempt to talk him out of supporting Dr. Bawumia left the Sinares red-faced and completely mortified.

With Alhaji Sinare behind and his sister holding the boy clad in a Bawumia T-shirt as they walked, Alhaji Sinare’s sister asked the boy: “What has the NPP done for you that you support them?”

They respond that “our grandparents and our parents have been supporting the NDC, but I don’t see how they have benefitted from it. The NDC has not done anything for them.”

Sinare’s sister, in an attempt to evade the boy’s criticism of the NDC not doing anything for the Zongos in the past, said the NDC is in opposition and cannot help.

After this, Sinare’s sister pointed at Bawumia’s image on the boy’s T-shirt and asked again, “What has this man done for you that you support him?”

At this stage, the boy delivered a response that completely embarrassed the Sinares.

“He has done everything for me. I have benefitted from Free SHS,” the boy responded.

At this stage, Alhaji Sinare, unhappy with the boy’s responses, pulled him away from his sister.
