The National Chief Imam, Sheikh Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, on Monday, September 9, 2024, led prayers for Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.

The special prayers said at the residence of Dr. Bawumia were to express gratitude to Allah and also to seek His favours as Dr. Bawumia prepared to file his nomination forms at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission to contest for President of Ghana.

Sheikh Sharubutu led a team of scholars, both young and old, who recited the entire Quran to invoke the mercy and favours of Allah.
