It’s high time all government officials with the exception of Ministers of State, President, Vice President and the Chief of Staff stopped using government fuel coupons to make taxpayers pay indirectly for them to save enough money to run certain developmental projects to restructure our economy immediately.

We need to cut down the wage bills on government including the huge sums of money the government give to Members of Parliament to rent houses and to purchase cars of their choice; these outrageous loans with needing certain benefits that goes with these position in this country has to be stopped making it unattractive for everyone intending to be Members of Parliament or board chairmen of our institutions due to the courtesies attached to these positions.

I believe this has to be passed as a law effective now by the Legislature to save us all during these hard times.

South Africa President leads the way-

South Africa’s President Cyril Ramaphosa has withdrawn controversial perks for Cabinet Ministers and their deputies that saw their homes supplied with free electricity and water. Even where there are numerous factories such as: Gold mining companies have taken a bold initiative to relieve their citizens of over loaded wage bills in a form of tax payment that their fellow citizens pay annually to those who seek their sovereignty taken advantage of their positions as state men/ women to live under free conditions, by seeing it as an opportunity to raise the wage bill of government.

I am suggesting to the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo as a concerned citizen, to please withdraw some of the privileges such as: fuel coupons given to Government board members , CEO’s, Ministers and deputy Ministers of state , certain party officials, certain people who play no roles at the Presidency to cut down wage bill on government’s neck.
Government can divert such revenues to develop and transform the livelihood of the ordinary citizen. I believe it’s a bold step the South African President has taken and I believe it is in the right direction Your Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa.

I wish your fellow African Presidents( leaders) will follow suit, in order to rescue their economies and also by reducing the wage bill forced on the neck of the citizens .
Joy to me is a sacrificial element to elevate yourself to the next level in life. You attract your mindset per your level of reasoning. Thumps up South African president. God bless Africa and it’s citizens.
