Nana Addo, Bawumia to mount campaign stage in Ayawaso West Wuogon

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his vice, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will be seen on stage at a rally to be held on Tuesday.

The rally is to canvass for votes for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate in the January 31 by-election in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency.

The by-election was necessitated by the sudden death of Emmanuel Kyeremanteng Agyarko. He was interred last Saturday.

Not resting on its oars in order to retain the seat, NPP will hold a major rally on Tuesday.

The Special Guest of Honour will be President Akufo-Addo.

The rally at the La Bawaleshie Park is expected to start at 12 midday.

A statement signed by National Organiser Sammi Awuku observed that the rally will wrap up the party’s campaign for the by-election.

NPP’s candidate Lydia Seyram Alhassan, a widow of the late MP, will also address the supporters.

Also in attendance will be the late MP’s predecessor, Madam Frema Osei Opare, who is the current Chief of Staff.
