A thorny issue was the exclusion of Kpandai from the Savanna Region but the Buipewura who represented the Yagbonwura said the region can be created without Kpandai but at the appropriate time that is after the creation of the Savanna region, Kpandai will be added.

On Kpandai Chief Doliwura said Yagbonwura’s position after series of meetings is that the issue of Kpandai should be put aside and that after the people of Gonjaland get the Savanna Region, Kpandai will surely run back to join.

“The situation of Kpandai is like a child saying he doesn’t know home; he will definitely run round and come back him when the need arises”; Chief Doliwura said.

The Parmaount Queenmother of Damongo Traditional Area, Damongowurche Jinche Soale on her part appealed to women and everybody to come out in their numbers to vote since this is a very welcoming news to Gonjaland and an opportunity to show how proud Gonjas are as a people.
