Hometown Records signs Ben Brainy as first artiste

A new music and talent management firm, Hometown Records, was successfully launched in Kumasi on Thursday, October 31, 2024.

The launch of the label also saw the unveiling of the first music artiste, Ben Brainy.

The A&R Manager of Hometown Records, Mr Kaxtro (Starr FM), stated at the colourful event that his company has big plans for the entertainment industry in Ghana, especially Kumasi and would need the support of the media, industry players and gatekeepers to make their dreams a reality.

He also added that the label would do everything humanly possible to project their first signed act, Ben Brainy, to global platforms.

Some of the executives of the label present at the event were Solomon Mensah (CEO of Hometown Records), Yusif Issah (CEO of U&A Clothing and Multimedia), Oseikromni Lionel (Roads Manager for the label) and DJ Manucho (Official DJ for the label).

Ben Brainy, who was elated to be signed to Hometown Records, announced at the unveiling that his first official song under the label will be released on Friday, 8 November 2024.
