Music composer Jude Nnam reportedly kidnapped in Anambra

Well-known Christian music composer Jude Nnam popularly known as Ancestor has allegedly been kidnapped.

The music composer is a member of the National Liturgical Commission of the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria (CSN) and the National Music Director of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Jude Nnam was reportedly abducted in Umunnachi, Anambra State, on Thursday night, November 14, 2024, at approximately six o’clock.

According to reports, the legendary musician visited Anambra for a religious event.

On Friday, Rev. Fr. Augustine Mario, a Catholic priest, posted the heartbreaking news of Nnam’s abduction on his Facebook page.

He wrote, “Please kindly keep Sir Dr. Jude Nnam (Ancestor) in your prayers. He was allegedly kidnapped yesterday evening around 6 p.m. in Umunnachi, Anambra State.

Sir Jude Nnam is the CAN National Music Director and Member of the National Liturgical Commission, CSN, etc.

May God grant him safety and quick release from his abductors. Amen”

Another Catholic priest also confirmed that Nnam had been kidnapped when he shared the news on his Facebook page and added that he was sick of living in Nigeria because it was a dangerous place.

He wrote, “if this is true, then it is a huge shame. I’m simply tired of this unfortunate space called Nigeria.

Why this type of pain and frustration now? Anyway, I just hope this isn’t true.

Jude Nnam Ancestor! It is well. Fada Mentor.”
