Musama Disco church members in car crash; one dead, 30 injured

A passenger bus carrying members of Musama Disco Christo church has been involved in a fatal accident resulting in the death of one person at Yawkro near Nsawam in the Eastern region.

Thirty other members sustained varied degree of injuries.

It is not yet clear what caused the accident, but sources say the Passenger Bus carrying the Church members collided with a VW Car from the opposite direction.

DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police command confirmed the incident and added that personnel of the Motor Traffic and Transport Department have commenced investigations into the incident.
