Mourinho makes crucial decision on Osayi-Samuel’s future at Fenerbahce

Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho wants the club to offer Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel an improved contract, according to reports.

Osayi-Samuel’s current deal with the Yellow Canaries expires at the end of the season, having joined the club in 2021.

The Nigerian defender, who joined Fenerbahce from Queens Park Rangers, is demanding an increase in wages before he will pen a new deal with the club.

Fanatik reports that the Turkish Super Lig giants are planning to offer him a new three-year deal.

Veteran Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho sees the Nigerian international as a key part of his plans and wants his future at the club to be sorted immediately.

Osayi-Samuel has registered one assist in seven appearances for Fenerbahce this term.
