Mother Of 7 Crashed To Death During NPP Float In Swedru

Residents of Bebianiha, a suburb of Agona Swedru are mourning the demise of Nana Yaa, whose unfortunate and sad death occurred Sunday 4th October 2020. MyNewsGhana.net has established

The woman was knocked down and run over by a branded Toyota Corolla, with registration number GN-2537-26, blue in color and belonging to one Mr. Ato, believed to be a personal bodyguard of the Agona West MP and Gender Minister.

There’s general grief, sorrow, and anger at the chronology of events incident leading to the accident, with eyewitnesses blaming the driver for reckless driving despite alarm being raised over the over-speeding and reckless driving throughout the float.

The victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Agona Swedru Government Hospital, with several injuries suffered.

Her body has been deposited at the Swedru Government hospital, awaiting autopsy.
