Mother, 28 and her two children burnt to death at Abuakwa

A 28-year old mother and her two children have been burned to death at Abuakwa in the Atwiman Nwabiagya South District of the Ashanti.

 

Three family members, S Abigail Yeaboah, and her two daughters, Norah Yeboah 9, Philipa Yeboah , 6, were burnt to death on Tuesday dawn when a fire razed down their four bedroom in the area.

 

 

 

The deceased family, who were sleeping at the time of the incident, got trapped in their room.

 

Two others who were in the house according to eyewitness managed to escape unhurt.

 

Some residents who trooped to the scene to rescue the three family members said they heard them shouting for help but they could not be saved.

 

The intervention of firefighters however prevented the spread of the fire but the entire four bedroom house was destroyed by the blazing fire.

 

Security officials were still at the scene to retrieve the burnt bodies as of the time of filling this report.
