The youth of Moshie Zongo in the Manhyia North Constituency in the Ashanti Region have expressed their disappointment to Tafo police officer’s over the death of their colleague named Boozo.
Speaking with the spokesperson of the youth, Hamza Swallah narrate the story to Sikka FM News’s Akoko Asense that, Boozo was a security guard at one of car dealing shop in  Moshie Zongo.
One Friday after they have closed from Jummah Prayers around 2:00pm,two police officers and some other areas guys came to where Boozo Works for searching because they have  been hinted that some guys are smoking wee at that area.
They approached their brother Boozo when he was asleep and started searching him and unfortunately they found a piece of wee on the ground but according to the youth, police officers claimed that they find it from his pocket and they  allegedly arrest him to Tafo police station on the suspicious of wee smoking .
According to the aggrieved youth, they  detained their brother in a cell for almost two weeks without food nor water and just yesterday they had an information that Boozo has dead and the body has been deposited to Tafo mortuary without informing any family member.
They are therefore calling Ashanti Regional minister, Ashanti Regional Police Commander and Moshie Zongo chief Imam to call the police officers into order to bring the report about the death of their brother or otherwise they will set the police station on fire. They are giving them one week ultimatum to come out with the reports indicating the cause of their colleague death and if nothing were able to done about it they will stand up and fight for justice because Zongo communities are treated unfairly by Ashanti regional police services, they added.
Call Hamza Swallah the spokesperson of the youth for further explanation:
