More woes as court summons Agradaa over alleged broadcast of pastor’s intimate video

Evangelist Mama Pat, formerly known as Nana Agradaa, has been ordered by an Accra Circuit Court to reappear on July 30, 2025, in connection with a separate case unrelated to her recent 15-year prison sentence.

The court directed her to open her defence on charges involving the alleged non-consensual sharing of intimate images.

The case was filed by preacher Prophet Appiah, popularly known as Osofo Biblical, who accused Agradaa of unlawfully broadcasting a video of him engaging in a sexual act with a married woman.

The footage was allegedly aired on her now-defunct Thunder TV station during her time as a self-styled fetish priestess.

According to the complainant, the video was shown without his consent, amounting to a violation of his privacy and dignity. He also alleged he was physically assaulted by individuals affiliated with Agradaa during that period.

The court has ordered that Agradaa be transported from the Nsawam Female Prison—where she is currently serving a 15-year jail term for fraud—to appear for a final ruling in the ongoing case.

Speaking after proceedings, her legal counsel confirmed the July 30 date and disclosed plans to appeal her recent conviction and sentence.

This latest development adds to Agradaa’s mounting legal woes, with two major cases now before the courts.
