Having trailed St. Augustine’s up until the fifth round, Mfantsipim took the lead after answering the penultimate riddle of the contest.
At the end of the finals on Wednesday, 30 October 2024, Mfantsipim secured 47 points, while St. Augustine’s College had 46 points, followed by Keta SHS with 32 points.
Mfantsipim won their first trophy in 1999 and a second in 2014. This win brings their total haul to three, having also lost in two finals in 2000 and 2016.
Defending champions, Presec Legon, who have won the competition eight times, failed to reach the finals of the 2024 edition after losing out in the semi-finals against Mfantsipim.
