Meregini mourns ex-ABUBEB chairman, Micah Onyebuchi at 89

Paul Meregini, the 2023 House of Representatives Candidate of Action Democratic Party (ADP), for the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal Constituency of Abia state, has commiserated with the Chief Medical Director of Queen Elizabeth Federal Medical Center, Umuahia, Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi, on the passage of his father, Late Chief Micah Onyebuchi.
Late Pa Onyebuchi hailed from Ibeku ancient clan in Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia state, and died on Saturday, 8th July, 2022 at the age of 89.
Condoling the bereaved family, Chief Paul Meregini, in a condolence message on Friday, expressed sadness on the demise of the late Pa Chief Micah Onyebuchi, described the deceased as a authentic teacher, man of repute and worthy son of Ibeku land, whose contributions and roles towards development of the Nigeria’s education sector cannot be overemphasized.
The ADP national Assembly standard-bearer, recalled the academic teachings of late Pa Micah Onyebuchi, noted that the late Ibeku-born chief inculcated and instilled discipline, and good and sound morals in his students and those who came across him, stating also that he would be missed for his kind counselling and peaceful posture in critical issues that have great and direct impacts in lives of many people in Abia and the nation at large.
Meregini further recalled the deceased era in public service and also noted that late Pa Micah Onyebuchi served as Executive Secretary of the Abia State Universal Basic Education Board, without blemishes and lived a life of worthy emulation and adherence to beliefs in integrity and discipline.
“On behalf of my family, friends, associates and numerous supporters across the Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia state condole the deceased son and Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Center(FMC), Umuahia, Professor Azubuike Onyebuchi, entire Onyebuchi family members, and as well as, friends and relations, over the death of the renowned disciplinarian and educationist per excellence, praying almighty God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss”, the Abia frontline politician added.
It would be recalled that late Chief Pa Micah Onyebuchi was a one-time Vice-Chairman, Umuahia North Local Government Area; and former member, Abia state Civil Service Commission.
