Menzgold customers frustrated over validation pace

Over 200 aggrieved Menzgold customers trooped the Osu verification center on Tuesday as part of processes of recovering their held up investments.

However, these aggrieved customers have expressed frustration with the slow pace of the process.

Menzgold on October 23 announced outlets in the various regions for their customers to go and verify their documents in order for payments to be effected to them.

A statement by the gold collectible firm said the document validation period will begin on October 28, 2019 and end on November 28, 2019.

A customer lamenting to Starr News revealed that the process was slow and cumbersome hence his doubts about the rationality of payments.

He said “I just came around 11:50am, but looking at the people gathered here, I don’t think I can get time to enter because those who came early have not been called so I still don’t believe whether the guy can pay us. Or he just wanted to play some tricks on us.”

“Because certain things have happened before at Kasoa and they asked us to come and write our account details so they money will be paid in. Last week they said they made a press conference, so I believe maybe they are prepared to pay us but looking at things, it’s not all that easy, it’s very cumbersome. I don’t know why they are doing that,” he said.

Below are details of a statement from Menzgold
