Nana Kwaku Dua II was the first Asantehene (Ashanti King) to be photographed.
He reigned: 28 April 1884 – 11 June 1884 (Ashanti civil war era, 1883-1888)
WIREMPE STOOL: It’s a symbol of office which is blackened, place in a stool room whenever a monarch is no more.
