Meet Stonebwoy’s footballer brother who has been signed by Legon Cities

On Tuesday, January 21, 2025, Legon Cities reportedly signed Elijah Satekla, the younger brother of reggae-dancehall musician Stonebwoy.

The talented sibling of the award-winning artist joins the club as they aim to bolster their squad in the fight for survival. With fans buzzing about this new addition, here’s everything you need to know about Elijah Satekla.

Elijah, also known as Selasi, is the only surviving brother of Stonebwoy, following the tragic loss of his twin brother in an accident.

A professional footballer with aspirations of global recognition, Elijah has been steadily building his career as seen of training videos, while also sharing moments with his famous brother.

Notably, he accompanied Stonebwoy during a performance at the 2020 Ashaiman to the World Festival.

In October 2024, Elijah had the opportunity to showcase his talent at Arsenal legend Emmanuel Adebayor’s farewell match in Togo.

He played alongside some of Africa’s football icons, including Asamoah Gyan, Nigerian greats Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha, Senegalese legend El-Hadji Diouf, and former Cameroon captain Samuel Eto’o.

Elijah Satekla is determined to make his mark in football while carrying the legacy of his family name and Legon Cities could be the steppingstone he needs.
