McBrown to fund the release of 47 inmates on her 47th birthday

CEO of the Crime Check Foundation, Ibrahim Oppong Kwarteng, has disclosed that actress Nana Ama McBrown has intended to pay for the release of 47 prisoners.

He disclosed that the actress, who will be marking her 47th birthday on August 15, has decided to roll up the initiative that she earlier spoke to him about.

“Nana Ama McBrown will turn 47 on August 15, and she will be funding the release of 47 prison inmates. I know whoever is watching this is impressed and will say a prayer for her,” he stated in a video making the rounds online.

In the video, Mr. Oppong Kwarteng was spotted with some inmates at Akuse Prison, one of the facilities to benefit from Mcbrown’s generosity.

He stood with them and said, “The Bible said we should draw near the prisoners, be a source of encouragement to them, and tell them the good news because being in prison is not a joke.”

Earlier in February 2024, when the Crime Check Foundation boss was featured on the ‘McBrown Kitchen’ show, the actress, who was impressed with his philanthropic works, promised to also contribute her quota towards his projects.

She pledged to also lend a helping hand in paying fines for prison inmates and getting them released from prison.
