Mark Freeman Donates To Assurance for the Needy Orphanage As part of His 50th Birthday Celebration

As part of the 50th birthday celebration of a distinguished philanthropist who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Atani Clearing Service Mr Mark Freeman, he joined the children at the Assurance for the Needy Orphanage home in teshie, Accra.
The celebration which took place at the forecourt of the orphanage home on Friday, April 9 2021 saw the likes of the former member of Parliament for the ledzokuku constituency Dr Benard Okoe- Boye, former classmates of Mr Freeman from the Achimota, friends and family members saw in a branded white shirts with a logo of the description of ‘Mark Freeman At 50’ on the left-hand side and a symbol of April born on the right side of the shirt.
The celebrant, Mark Freeman presented, items worth thousands of Ghana cedis including Foodstuff such as Rice, Cooking Oil, Tin Tomatoes, Frozen Chicken and a cheque of GH¢5000.
Aside from him supporting the home, his friend who doubles as the MC of the occasion and former classmate of Achimota School (Motown Boys) also presented a cheque of GH¢3000 to support the health status of some two kids.
There was a choreography performance from the kids, where artwork was given to them by the business mogul’s beautiful two daughters for God’s protection.
When asked in an interview what giving means to him, Mr Freeman disclosed that “he feels blessed whenever he gives and giving keeps him going”.
Emphasising that giving is good and there are more blessings in giving than receiving as the Bible says.
He then seized the opportunity to urge his friends and everyone to help support the needy in society to eradicate poverty in the society and the country as a whole.
With about one hundred and twenty under the care of the orphanage, Rev Enoch Yartey-Quaye Mensah, the director and founder of the orphanage revealed that only fifty-four are presently residing at the orphanage while the rest are living with guardians due to lack of facilities to accommodate them.
” We have a total number of 120 children but because of inadequate infrastructure some are living with their guardians but we take care of their feeding, schooling, hospital bills and clothing. We have rented an apartment at the back of the home where the grown-ups are. They equally enjoy everything the kids here enjoyed. We have also acquired a plot of land nearby which we are hoping to do something soon and moved”, he said.
“This donation will go down well in our remembrances because no one has donated a freezer to us before. For the past seventeen years, all the donors who come into our aid normally come with food items and toiletries, so we are excited”,  he started
Rev Mensah seized the moment to thank Mr Mark Freeman and his friends for their kind gesture and prayed to God to bless them with more and long life.
